Call for Proposals:
EU advances Moldova – Ukraine territorial cooperation
On April 15, 2015 Managing Authority of the EaPTC Programme has
announced the Call for Proposals for strengthening territorial
cooperation between Moldova and the bordering regions of Ukraine to
jointly develop and implement cross-border projects.
Territorial cooperation partners, including local authorities,
communities and civil society organisations, from the whole
territory of the Republic of Moldova and three eligible regions
(oblasts) of Ukraine – Chernivtsi, Vinnytsya and Odesa – are
invited to apply for grants to address common development challenges
in their countries.
Priority is given to joint projects aimed at promotion of closer
business links across the border, development of alternative
employment opportunities in rural areas, solving cross-border
environmental problems, including emergency preparedness. Promotion
of multi-cultural diversity and social integration of ethnical
minorities, as well as facilitation of people-to-people contacts in
social sphere, culture, education and sports are likewise in the
focus of Moldova – Ukraine Territorial Cooperation Programme. The
overall indicative amount made available by the EU under this Call
for Proposals is 3.3 million EUR.
Submission of project proposals is open until 14th of July 2015 at
the address of the EaPTC Managing Authority North office (Deutsche
Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, 44
Chervonoarmiyska St., 01004 Kyiv, Ukraine).

specific requirements and other useful information for applicants,

Information Days related to the announced Call for Proposals will be
held in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine at the end of April –
beginning of May 2015. The detailed schedule of information sessions

Программы EaPTC объявил конкурс
проектных предложений с целью
укрепления территориального
сотрудничества между Молдовой и
приграничными регионами Украины для
совместной разработки и реализации
трансграничных проектов.
Партнеры по территориальному
сотрудничеству, включая местные
органы власти, общины и организации
гражданского общества, из Республики
Молдовы (всей территории) вместе с
украинскими партнерами их трех
регионов (областей) – Черновицкой,
Винницкой и Одесской – приглашаются
к участию в конкурсе на получение
грантов с целью решения общих задач
развития обеих стран.
Приоритетными станут совместные
проекты, направленные на развитие
деловых связей вдоль границы,
создание альтернативных
возможностей трудоустройства в
сельскохозяйственной местности,
решение проблем охраны окружающей
среды, включая повышение готовности к
борьбе с последствиями чрезвычайных
ситуаций. Важным для Программы также
является содействие межкультурному
диалогу, социальной интеграции
этнических меньшинств и развитию
межличностных контактов в
социальной, культурной,
образовательной и спортивной сферах.
Европейский Союз выделяет на эту
Программу 3,3 миллионов Евро.
