Al. Șciusev 103, Chișinău Documentarul ne relatează istoria orașului Astana, noua capitală a Kazahstanului, la 10 de ani de aniversare. În spatele scenei de parade militare, arhitectură monumentală și competiții muzicale se desfășoară o altă istorie – o istorie a miilor de migranți care au sosit să construiască monumentele de aur ale națiunii lor, și istoria rezidenților din Astana, care în urma extinderii climatului financiar global se regăsesc prinși între viziunea oficială asupra capitalei și realitățile vieții de la marginea utopiei. Sciusev St. 103, Chisinau The documentary tells the story of Astana, the new capital city of Kazakhstan as it celebrates its tenth anniversary. Behind the scenery of the military parades, monumental architecture and song competitions there is another story. A story of thousands of migrants who arrived to build the golden monuments of their nation and a story of the residents of Astana who, after the global financial climate spreads, find themselves caught between the official vision of the capital and the realities of life on utopia’s outskirts.
