- – – scroll down for English version – – - RO – – – – - 16 decembrie 2015, ora 16:00 Dan ACOSTIOAEI: secular / religios / public / privat (Despre hegemonizarea spatiului public) – prezentare de artist Galeria BUNCHER (Facultatea Arte Plastice, Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice) str. 31 August 1989, nr. 137, Chișinău Inversarea pardigmei sociale în Romania de după 1989 este marcată de progresiva demantelare a Statului, evoluția urbanului devenind o sumă de intițiative individuale haotice. Planificarea excesivă, ca instrument autoritar, se transformă în ultimii 25 de ani într-un apanaj al intereselor private, unde bunul public este modedă de schimb a retoricii electorale. Inseția catedralelor în centrul cartierelor de blocuri sau în centrul campusurilor universitare devine imaginea simbolică ale revanșei privatului și a lipsei de politică urbană. Destructurarea și hegemonizarea spațiului public este reflectată în orientarea aproape exclusivă spre consum a activităților de socializare, ele fiind polarizate în jurul mall-urilor. – – – Dan ACOSTIOAEI trăieşte şi lucrează în Iaşi, România. Este artist vizual şi predă la Universitatea de Arte „George Enescu” din Iaşi. Lucrările sale se concentrează asupra modelelor identitare ale tranziției societății românești și asupra granițelor ideologice dintre sfera economică și condițiile producției artistice în Estul Europei. Proiectele sale au fost expuse în expoziții precum One Sixth of the Earth – Ecologies of Image, MUSAC, Leon, Spania (2012), Transitland: videoart in Central and Eastern Europe 1989-2009, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spania (2010), Illuminations, Level 2 Gallery, Tate Modern, Londra, Marea Britanie (2007), În vremuri de speranță și neliniște. Artă critică din Iași, MNAC, București (2015). – – – Aproprierea prin artă a spațiului public este un program organizat de Asociația Oberliht în colaborare cu Centrul pentru Artă Contemporană, Chișinău [ksa:k] și Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice, Facultatea Arte Plastice, și este susținut de Fundația Culturală Europeană în cadrul proiectului Acțiune Colectivă pentru Bunurile Comune. Scopul acestui program este de a introduce noi module educaționale în sfera educației artistice din Moldova și de a familiariza publicul cu noile tendințe în artă din Moldova și din regiune. The excessive planning, as authoritarian instrument, turns within the past 25 years into a privilege of private interests, where the public good is an exchange coin of the election rhetoric. The insertion of the cathedrals in the center of the residential blocks districts or in the center of the university campuses becomes the symbolic image of the revenge of the private and of the lack of urban policy. The destructuralization and hegemonization of public space is reflected in the almost exclusive orientation towards consumption of the activities of socializing, these being polarized around the malls. – – – Dan ACOSTIOAEI lives and works in Iaşi, Romania. He is a visual artist and he holds a teaching position at University of Arts ”George Enescu” in Iaşi. Acostioaei’s works focus on the identity models of the Romanian society in transition and on the ideological boundaries between the economic sphere and the conditions of artistic production within former Eastern Bloc. Critical art from Iasi, MNAC, Bucharest (2015). – – – Appropriation of public space through art is a program organized by Oberliht Association in collaboration with Contemporary Art Centre from Chisinau and Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, with the support of European Cultural Foundation in the frame of Connected Action for the Commons project.
