Deadline: *12 September 2016 * We invite for project proposals to be realised under *Techne*, a project conceived between Künstlerhaus Stuttgart and Theater Rampe.
The title refers to the pre-socratic use and understanding of 'téchne' as a unity of art and technology. This is a project which extends the emphasis on the interdependence and slippage of terms, and explores the stakes of this intersection on ethical, economic and aesthetic levels. Taking the form of a performing and visual arts production platform, *Techne* extends between November 2016 and December 2017. The project is presented through various formats, including workshops, performances, dinners, publications, talks and conversations, culminating in an exhibition at Künstlerhaus Stuttgart and a festival at Theater Rampe in November 2017.
