ANOTHER CALL OF PARTICIPATION (updated)
Hello everyone,
I’m currently creating a magazine about Moldova for my bachelor degree. So far, I’m still looking for contemporary visual artists and writers who would like to contribute with their own work.
About the magazine:

Insomnia creates a space for open-ended questioning exploring different countries at the periphery of Europe and promoting intercultural dialogue. Insomnia doesn‘t seek to give answers, it seeks to raise questions by creating a visual frame for countries which are often marginalized in the European mind. Insomnia believes in the power of art and its potential to open up a space for voices with different perspectives, voices yet to be seen and heard. Insomnia believes that being restless is the only way to challenge us to continuously look for a shared vocabulary and coordinates. The first issue turns towards to the Republic of Moldova.
The magazine will be divided mainly into three parts (so far the process) that will concentrate on different topics and are initiated by different questions.
Part 1: And tell me, where is this place? (possible link to Moldovas geography/history)
Part 2: Where have all the flowers gone? / Do you sometimes dream of Europe? (possible link to the migration problem, national identity search between EU and Russia, country without parents,...)
Part 3: Not so blue afterall (a look to the future, imagination of the radical change, utopia, current initiatives that seek for change)
