Al. Şciusev 103, Chişinău) Filmul biografic “Beuys” îl prezintă pe celebrul şi controversatul artist german din sec. XX, Joseph Beuys, în ipostaze diferite: performer, profesor şi teoretician, activist civic şi membru timpuriu al partidului politic Die Grünen. De la grafică până la performance, instalaţie sau sculptură, Beuys este îndeosebi cunoscut pentru semnătura sa sub formă de pălărie, performance-urile realizate din grăsime şi pâslă sau renumita instalaţie “7000 de stejari”. Beuys şi-a propus să creeze un Gesamtkunstwerk – o lucrare de artă care să aducă o schimbare socio-politică, conceptele sale despre “ce este arta” aflându-se astăzi în mijlocul celor mai relevante dezbateri sociale. El este cel care a declarat într-un mod vizionar că “fiecare e un artist” şi a introdus conceptul de “sculptură socială”. Premii: Best Editing (2018), DOK.fest München German Documentary Music Award (2018), Gilde Film Award for Best Documentary Film (2017). Beuys is mostly known for his hat, performances with fat and felt , and one the most important art work called “7000 oaks”. Beuys strongly believed that art can change the world and invented the concept of “social sculpture”. His main purpose was to create a so called “Gesamtkunstwerk” – art work that could bring social and political change.
