Nu pare să observăm anumite lucruri care ar fi mai ușor percepute într-o epocă ulterioară. Ce devine evident atunci când prezentul este tratat ca trecut? Cheltuielile legate de transport interurban, pauze de cafea și mese vor fi acoperite de organizatori. Prioritate va fi acordată studenților și absolvenților facultăților de artă, arhitectură și urbanism, design, management cultural, culturologie, antropologie și sociologie. Atelierul se va desfășura în limba engleză și este necesară cunoașterea limbii engleze la nivel de comunicare. Vă rugăm să aduceți cu voi aparate de fotografiat sau telefoane echipate cu camere foto. – Janos SUGAR (1958) a studiat sculptura la Academia de Arte Maghiare din Budapesta. În paralel cu studiile sale, între 1980 și 1986 a fost împlicat îndeaproape în activitatea grupului Indigo – un grup de artă interdisciplinară condus de Miklos Erdely. Sugar a participat la expoziții naționale și internaționale de la mijlocul anilor 1980, în 1992 a expus la Documenta IX, Kassel, în 1996 la Manifesta I, Rotterdam. Filmele sale au fost proiectate în 1998 la Arhiva Filmelor Antologice din New York. În 2014 a fost invitat la Bienala de la București, în 2015 a participat la OFF-Biennale, Budapesta. În 1994-1996 Sugar a organizat seria de conferințe MetaForum <https://monoskop.org/MetaForum> (cu Geert Lovink și Diana McCarty. Împreună cu Miklos Peternak a fondat Departamentul Intermedia al Academiei Ungare de Arte Plastice din Budapesta <http://www.c3.hu/scca/butterfly/intermedia/> și a predat teoria artei și a mass-mediei din 1990. (prof. DLA habil). În prezent el locuiește la Budapesta. – Scopul proiectului Edu-Art constă în formarea unei generații de artiști active din punct de vedere civic și pregătirea lor pentru a se realiza profesional în plan național și internaţional. Proiectul îşi propune să ofere tinerilor artişti suport metodologic şi practic într-o lume aflată în proces de transformare sub presiunea unor factori de ordin global (cerințele înalte de acces pe piața muncii și competitivitatea existentă în câmpul artistic, precarizarea lucrului în sfera culturii ceea ce poate duce la schimbarea profesiei sau chiar emigrarea artiștilor, concentrarea resurselor în zonele mai dezvoltate din punct de vedere economic și de aici nevoia stabilirii unui dialog cu instituții și colegi din alte țări etc.) şi pregătirea acestora pentru competiţia profesională internaţională. The expenses related to intercity transport and meals will be covered by the organizers. Priority will be given to students and graduates from the faculties of art, architecture and urban planning, design, cultural management, cultural studies, anthropology and sociology. This series of events will be conducted in English language so basic/communication knowledge of English is necessary. Please bring your own photo-cameras or cell phones equipped with cameras. – Janos SUGAR (1958) studied sculpture at the Hungarian Academy of Arts in Budapest. The project aims to provide methodological and practical support to emerging artists that are facing undergoing transformations on a global scale (strong competition in the art field and higher requirements for accessing the labor market, increasing precarious conditions for those active in the field of culture that can lead to change of profession or emigration of the artists, concentration of the resources in economically developed countries and hence the need to develop a dialogue with institutions and colleagues from abroad, etc.) and their preparation for the professional competition internationally.
