Iată cum le caracterizează însuși artistul: „Pentru a reordona spațiul trebuie să îl redefinim. Pentru acest tip de intervenție artistică, folosesc termenul „artă aplicată”, care înseamnă artă aplicată în context și spațiu public. Aceasta este pentru a descrie o strategie artistică axată pe problemele din societate pentru a interveni, interacționa și transcende într-o altă construcție a realității. Creez instrumente pentru a crea această nouă realitate în mintea altor oameni.” În cadrul acestei săptămâni se desfășoară două ateliere sub forma unui grup de discuții și a unui atelier de lucru creativ. Astfel, vă invităm marți, 6 octombrie, ora 17:00 să participați la seminarul „Cum să ai de a face cu un obiect de artă? <https://arteduct.wordpress.com/edu-art-2020/ateliere/obiect-de-arta/>”. Fiecare dintre cele 4 întâlniri / discuții de grup va folosi ca punct de pornire un obiect de artă. Vom aborda practica de abordare a unui obiect de artă, în calitate de un obiect comun pentru investigație în cadrul grupului de participanți. Vom analiza atât modul în care abordăm un obiect de artă, presupozițiile pe care le avem și spontaneitatea de care dăm dovadă în momentul întâlnirii cu el, și vom dezvolta, prin discuții critice, instrumente pentru a deveni capabili să vorbim în mod inteligent despre un obiect de artă cu care avem de a face pentru prima dată, într-un mod ancorat în însuși felul în care intrăm în contact cu el. Pentru a realiza acest lucru, în cadrul fiecărei întâlniri, vom, examina, împreună, moduri de a avea de a face cu obiecte de artă realizate în medii diferite, conectate prin tema comună a periferiei. Here is how the artist himself characterizes these ways: ”To reorder space one needs to redefine space. For this kind of artistic intervention, I use the term “applied art”, which means art applied in public context and space. This is to describe an artistic strategy focussing problems in society to then intervene, interact, and transcend into another construction of reality. I create tools to create this new reality in other peoples minds“. In the frame of this week will take place two workshops. One of them in the format of a discussion group, and the other as a creative studio work. Join us on Tuesday for the seminar „How to deal with an art object? <https://arteduct.wordpress.com/edu-art-2020/ateliere/obiect-de-arta/>” with Alex Cosmescu [MD]. The project will involve a series of group discussions, each of them using an art object as a starting point. We will approach the art object as a practice in itself and as an object for common investigation in the group of participants. We will investigate both the way in which we already approach art objects, the presuppositions we bring to this encounter, the spontaneous procedures that we use, and we will develop, through critical discussion, tools for being able to talk intelligently about a newly encountered art object in a way that is anchored in our actual encounter with it. In order to accomplish this, during each meeting, we will examine, together, ways of encountering art objects belonging to different media, brought together by the common topic of the periphery.
