– scroll down for English – РУ Взгляд на Периферию или Периферия Зрения Термин Периферия <https://arteduct.wordpress.com/edu-art-2020/periferie/> стал отправной точкой для программы Еду-Арт в 2020-ом году <https://arteduct.wordpress.com/edu-art-2020/>. Почему “периферия”? Одна из причин – сам статус места, который закрепился в описаниях Молдовы. Положение некой пограничной зоны или провинции в составе крупных государственных формирований невозможно игнорировать, рассматривая историю региона в политической, экономической и культурной перспективе. Другая причина связана с работой в городском контексте Кишинева и других городов Молдовы. Микрорайонная среда стала пространством, в котором команда Ассоциации Оберлихт работала в течении последних 5-6 лет, занимаясь разнообразной деятельностью от исследования и взаимодействия с жителями жилых районов до создания релевантных для этих мест произведений искусства и теоретического осмысления этого опыта. Важный аспект нашей работы – это уязвимость и специфические условия труда, с которыми сталкиваются независимые культурные работники в Молдове и в соседних регионах. Один из способов преодоления этих трудностей – развитие партнерских отношений и сотрудничества с коллегами из Приднестровья, Одессы, Черновцов, Ясс и других регионов. Работы Максима неотделимы от его повседневных жизненных практик и часто образуют с ними симбиоз, дополняя друг друга. Обычно он находит материалы, технологии, вдохновение и форму экспрессии в местах своего пребывания. Для этого он использует антропологические, художественные и философские инструменты наблюдения или просто взаимодействует с людьми. В своих недавних работах и проектах он исследует процессы трансформации публичного пространства в постсоветских городах, а также необходимость концептуализации альтернативной сети публичных пространств в Кишиневе. Why “Periphery”? One of the reasons is the very status of the place, which is entrenched in the descriptions of Moldova. Considering the history of the region from a political, economic and cultural perspective as a kind of border zone or province within large state formations. Another reason is related to the work with the urban (built) context of Chișinău and other cities in Moldova done by the team of Oberliht Association during the last 5-6 years, where we carried out various activities (urban explorations & research, creation of site specific art works & interactions with inhabitants of residential districts). An important aspect of our work is embedded in the precarious conditions that we, as independent culture workers, face in Moldova and in the neighboring regions. One of the answers to overcome these difficulties is to develop partnerships & collaborations with colleagues from Transnistria, Odessa, Chernivtsi, Iasi and other regions. He is a researcher and artist who explores material and symbolic spaces and ways to live in them. Maxim’s works are inseparable from his everyday life practices, and often form a symbiosis with them, complementing each other. Usually he finds materials, technologies, inspiration and form of expression from places with which he works. For this he uses anthropological, artistic and philosophical tools of observing or just interacting with people. Member of the KOLXOZ collective. The KOLXOZ is a Tiraspol–Prague collective that works inside the cycle of the cultural life – from research and production to replication and distribution, turning every step of such a process into a manifestation of perception of the surrounding reality. Through his recent works and projects he examines the processes of transformation of the public space in post-Soviet cities along with the need for conceptualizing an alternative network of public spaces in Chisinau.
