Hi Steve, thank you for you feedback. I forward your mail to the obm mailing list. I'm not sure we have seen this behaviour, but we will check without folders.

Hi, I've been using your plugin for the past 2 days to access old messages from my previous jobs and I think it's great. The other tools or techniques I've seen require you to have Microsoft Outlook as a starting point for importing messages. This doesn't work for me since I don't have Outlook at home. I have come across one behavior that you may not be aware of. It seems that any messages at the root of a PST file (not in a named folder) are not seen and not imported by your plugin. I tested with PST files I have saved over the last 8 years. In my older PST files I used multiple named folders and the messages are all imported properly. In my newer PST files, I changed to storing all messages at the root without using any named folders. The only messages imported from these PST files are those in the Deleted folder which is always part of the PST file. I don't believe this is related to file size as some of my older PST files which work are larger than my newer files which don't. I am using Thunderbird, ver 2.0.0.14, with Outlook PST Import plugin, version 1.2, on Windows XP Home. Have you encountered this before? Do you have an idea how I might work around this issue? Thanks again for your plugin and for your time, Steve Smith
