stronger-than-expected results and outlook from Hewlett Packard Co <HPQ.N> offset worries about the economy. Dow Jones industrial average futures <DJc1> rose 13 points, and Nasdaq 100 <NDc1> futures rose 3.5 points. S&P 500 futures <SPc1> were 1.8 points lower and were roughly in line with fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.
