India Apr Edible Oil Imports 659,477 Tons;309,629 Tons Yr Ago (13 May, 2009)
MUMBAI (Dow Jones)--India's edible oil imports in April rose to 659,477 metric tons from 309,629 tons a year ago, the Solvent Extractors' Association of India said Wednesday. The country's total edible oil imports during the November-April period jumped to 4.09 million tons from 2.24 million tons a year ago.
