Asian markets open the Tuesday session weaker
despite initial optimism about a recovery for the global economy.
Global trade was thin on Monday, as U.S. and British markets were
closed for public holidays. Investors are closely watching North Korea, after
Pyongyang conducted an underground nuclear test on Monday, prompting
international condemnation and stoking risk fears in the region.
