This is obviously the sound of happy investor. Stock splits are good news and
the price will often the continue to increase, given time. Even though this is
often the case it is not always happens; the price does not have to increase
and not all stock splits end up being positive.
Every so often the positive stock split story heard. It might be at a cocktail
party or business lunch. Such a story will invariably hold the attention of the
listeners. Many sincerely wish they had bought the stock a year ago, when the
price was more reasonable.
The splits increase the number of shares outstanding, thereby increasing the
liquidity of the stock and they lower the price per share of the stock.
The lowering of the price makes the stock more affordable to investors.
INCO (and others) tell us....
