DJ Indonesia Econ Min: Oct On-Year Inflation Likely Below Sep

JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Indonesia's on-year inflation will likely rise at a
slower pace in October than in September as price pressures generated by
the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan begin to ease, coordinating minister
for the economy Boediono told reporters Wednesday.

Boediono said inflation in November and December will likely be lower
still than October's, and this will likely aid the government in achieving
its inflation target of 5%-7% this year.

Indonesia's consumer price index rose 6.95% on year in September, its
highest level in any month this year, driven largely by rises in food
prices.
