Obs was recently released and there hasn't been a ton of discussion on
it, so your problems haven't been covered before.

Super -- I'll do my best to help get it to work.

The no tracks in database is ok -- ignore it for now. The Cannot
resolve hostname is weird. Is the hostname on your machine properly
set? Can you do 'hostname' from the command line and get the proper
hostname? If that works, I've changed the error message to print out
the cause of the problem. You'd need to check out Obs from CVS (the
instructions are on the web page) to get this change and a bunch of
other changes that I've made. I'm getting close to releasing a new
version, but it may be a couple of weeks yet.

Obs needs to be up and running before you can check some tracks in. If
you check out the new version from CVS you can invoke obsd with -d and
-n, which will cause obs to run, but not serve out a stream. That's
handy for running obs the first time.

Hmmmmm. What's happening here is that the playqueue script wants to
update every 30 seconds, and for some reason the server is not
responding, and netscape is not smart enough to stop trying. Is your
web server still up and running?
I would not worry much about this problem until the other problems are
solved -- this should go away with a properly running system.

You're real close -- the hostname snag is the only real problem.

Let me know how it goes... Good luck!
