Well, I just tried it and still no sound. Doing an netstat -g shows
a membership in 224.0.0.1:

>netstat -gn
IPv4 Group Memberships
Interface       RefCnt Group
--------------- ------ ---------------------
lo              1      224.0.0.1
eth0            1      224.0.0.1

So I tried 224.0.0.1 an 224.0.0.5 as addresses too. But still no 
luck...?
