I am having trouble with the install-db.pl script to set up the mysql
database. I can connect to the database manually, but the script cannot
see that it is loaded. i have made sure that its running on the correct
port and that the mysql.sock is in /tmp here is the eror i get..
./install-db.pl
This script will set up the necessary MySQL users and tables for a
local Obsequeium server. This script is not suited for setting up
a remote Obsqueieum server -- please do that by hand...
Obseqieum database to use [obs]:
Obsequieum user [obs]:
mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)'
The MySQL server is not running. Please start the MySQL server
running this install script.
Checking to see if server is alive:
i can do a ps aux and see the safe_mysqld and 3 proeceses of mysqld
runing...
