I believe that the code to check for libmysqlclient is buggy. I've
simplified this code somewhat (based on a suggestion from Tripp Lilley)
and I'd like to know if the new version will work for you.
Could you please check out the latest and greatest version from CVS
(instructions are on the website). If this fails to configure properly,
could you please mail me the output of configure and also mail the the
config.log file?
