Hi,
I am trying to get obsequium (ver0.3.0 --I just downloaded it yesterday)
working with Shoutcast(ver1.7.1), and I am having this problem.
First let me say, that I followed the installtion instructions on
obs.freeamp.org and I had gotten this working, and I was playing the stream
from another machine on the network via shoutcast! --but it was short lived,
only about 5 minutes because I stopped Obsequium to change the stream name
in the config file. But after I started it again, and ever since, I cannot
get it to work at all. Specifically what is reported in the obs.log is:
Xmit: Connected to icecast server.
Xmit: shout_send_data() failed: 0
Xmit: Cannot connect to icecast server. Sleep...
... with the last message repeating indefinately.
The shoutcast log file reports a connection, but then seems to wait
endlessly for something else. Here is the last bit from the shoutcast log:
[source] listening for connection on port 8002
[source] connected from 127.0.0.1
... it waits here until I kill it.
Any suggestions? Please let me know if more information is needed.
