Hello, I'm new to this list, and I've only been trying to get
Obsequiem working since yesterday. I've run into a few little
problems, though, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
My first problem is identical to Rob Hoyle's problem that he listed
on 23 Jan 2001 in "Problems with OBS". I'm running RH7.0,
completely updated, I've compiled and installed Obs, MySQL, and
Apache. When I go to my URL addy, I get the 4 panes, but each
one says, "Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through
socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)".
Also, when I run obsd -d -n, it hangs on:
----- Obsequieum started Tue Mar 13 10:58:36 2001
Now, Robert Kaye's solution to the hanging problem is to get
the latest CVS source. My problem is that I cannot login to
cvs.freeamp.org. I think the problem is that my Internet
connection is through a proxy server, but I don't know how to
tell CVS to go through a proxy. I realize this problem is slightly
off of the main focus of this mailing list, but I would appreciate
any help I could get in this.
Finally, I have one last problem adding MP3's to the database.
When I run the AddFiles.pl script, I get this message:
Connected to database.
Using volume 'hdvol01' for files found in /usershre/mp3_music/:
/(.{1296891904})/: Quantifier in {,} bigger than 32766
Just The Two Of Us.mp3: [ID3v1]
What does this mean? Once again, any help would be
