Thats the right thing to do -- I need update the docs to reflect that
this library is now required.

Yes. :-)

My rationale is that when a volume (read: drive) is full, I'll add
another drive with a new volume. You could however have only one volume
at say /mnt (defined in /mnt/Volume) and obs could consider multiple
drives as one volume.

So, given that I will either use RipCd.pl, SubmitTrack.pl and have obs
automatically place the files in the right place. Or, I will copy files
into a <volume path>/new, do an AddFiles.pl on <volume path>/new and
then edit the metadata via the web interface (if needed). Finally I run
an CleanUp.pl to move/rename things into the proper place.
