I have a recent Obs cvs, and Icecast 1.3.10, but my FreeAmp was a little old
at
2.0.8...
Ok, I upgraded to the 2.1.0 version, and that fixed that problem.
On a completely unrelated note, I broke mysql somehow the other day and I
decided to reinstall it... after I did that I tried to rerun the
install-db.pl script but it would not run, I got some error that said to
make sure I had the perl dbm and dbd modules installed.
I reinstalled the modules using install.pl in the perl_modules0.3 package I
downloaded from the Obs site -- that went fine, but even after that the
install-db.pl script still failed.
Only after I went to cpan.org and got and installed the latest CGI.pm-2.753,
DBI-1.15 and Msql-Mysql-modules-1.2216 did the install-db.pl script finally
work.
So the question is, are these updated modules versions now required or did I
just screw something up and then get lucky (the latter being quite possible)
FYI, I'm running:
redhat7
kernel 2.4.4
mysql 3.23.37 (binary from mysql.com)
perl 5.6.0
icecast 1.3.10
obs recent cvs (~2weeks)
thanks-
J Goins
