I don't know -- but I'm sure one could be written. However, I've been using xmms on my home machine in the last couple of days and I'm not impressed. There are many streams that it cannot properly handle. I just remembered another thing about the RTP plugin in FreeAmp -- I never did write the code to re-order the packets as they come in. With UDP its possible that packets may come in out of order. And playing mp3 stream packets out of order makes for the worst possible gurgling noises. The people over at multicast tech had a freeamp derivative player that did this, but they never sent the source back to us. Maybe I should go download their player source and see what it does. -- --ruaok Freezerburn!
