Well, I had already made the changes to the ui_branch, in order to keep
ui_branch in sync. Is that sufficient - or are there people out there
interested in trying compilation disk support, and not the new HTML
engine.

On another note, I'm a wee bit confused by the 'variety' of methods used
to access the database. As far as I can see, most scripts do it manually,
using info from Obs::Defs to find the server. The admin scripts use
DBform, and the tools use LocalIO. 

I'm sure there is some logical explanation, but it just confuses me.
