I've got this groovy script for just that:
#!/bin/sh
while true; do
sleep 10
/usr/bin/freeamp -ui mpg123 <streamurl> /dev/null 2>&1
done
Then, I've got a cron job that kills freeamp once a day in the middle of
the night. With this setup is keeps running, and running, and....
