Yes, though support for Windows stuff will be limited by windows' SNMP.

Yes, we handle syslog. You can generate alerts from syslog using regular
expressions.
Do not try to keep a *lot* of syslog history in the database though,
MySQL is not built for that sort of thing.
3 - We need to have the system send an alert to our ticketing system. Does
Odservium send one alert per email, or does it group all the alerts into a
single email?
We send one alert per email/notification.
