Hi there Renee from Adv Potgieter's office returned my call yesterday. According to her Spar has never discussed or mentioned the move of the drop-safe with her or Adv Potgieter. I explained the situation to her and she says that she is very surprised that Alcino did not discuss this with her. I told her that it is my undertanding that if Spar wants to make any structural changes they need the go ahead from the landlord. She promised me that she will speak to Alcino SOONEST. I am struggling to get hold of Alcino to find out if she contacted him. Just for the record: THE SPAR SHOULD NOT MAKE THEIR SECURITY PROBLEM THE PROBLEM OF THE PUBLIC AND ON TOP OF THAT PUTTING THE PUBLIC IN DANGER! Alcino said that Spar Head Office instructed him to put the safe where it is now and yes, I agree with Rob that Spar Head Office should then be giving us answers and that in fact as my last letter to Aden Thomas from Cape Talk, I think the public EVERYWHERE should look where the drop-safe is at their Spar. I am waiting for Alcino to contact me so I can find out who at Spar Head Office can be contacted as I really believe that this issue should go to the media. Once again: THE SPAR SHOULD NOT MAKE THEIR SECURITY PROBLEM THE PROBLEM OF THE PUBLIC AND ON TOP OF THAT PUTTING THE PUBLIC IN DANGER! Yours in community! Adele Grosse
