Hi Pam

Two of these application are for a transfer of title holder. The only
objections would be in terms of the unsuitability of the new title holder.
i.e. does he( or company representative) comply with the requirements of the
liquor act in terms of a title holder. Any previous liqour offences?
Previous venues that have had problems etc.

Not much can be done about the actual licence unless complaints have been
laid agaist the new tiltle holder

The hour extension is a diffrent matter. Objections based on increased noise
and interference with neighbours would help. Bear in mind that this
extension might not weather the city bylaws. At the end of this year when
the new act in fully operational - all existing licenses will be converted
to comply with the new by-law. Also try and make it a condition that a noise
clearance certificate is required from the city.

Hope this helps you make informed factual objections.

Regards
