Have we all spotted the headline on p4 of today's Cape Times "Muizenberg landlord demands apology...." A posting on facebook by Emil Rorke has upset a certain gentleman named Zhaun Ahmed. Rorke alleges Ahmed is a slumlord and his Muizenberg property is the "nexus of criminal and antisocial behaviour" I have to ask myself if this could be the same name as pops up in the context of ownership of a certain noisy club roughly opposite the chemists on Lwr Main. Anyway Rorke is in trouble from the slumlord's attorney who wants R1 million for "defaming the good name and reputation of our client".
