The padlock for the Barrington St park has vanished! I can't imagine why anyone would want to steal it - maybe for scrap metal? I'm hoping that someone walked off with it by mistake and will return it (or am I being optimistic here). So, if any of you have a key and use the park, please check that it wasn't you.
I have spoken to the council and they are now going to weld the padlock to a chain and then to the gate to stop this from happening again.
