We received information from the Provincial war room that armed robberies
(Hijacking, house robbery and business robbery) is on the increase,
Resident and business owners to be careful and on the lookout for any
suspicious activity.
 
Dead baby found in dustbin
 
A dead new born baby was found in a green dustbin next to Liesbeeck River on
Thursday.
 
No visible signs of injury.  A inquest docket has been open for
investigation.  Anyone with information should contact Woodstock police
station 021 442 3121.
 
Clothing needed for child
 
A blind man was arrested in Woodstock after the murder of his wife,  His
child of 2½ years old was place in foster care for the time being. Clothing
for this child and any food donations are urgently need contact Capt Jeptha
on her cellphone 082 302 7114.
