Hi, I'm just posting what we experienced in the hopes that someone may have more information? We were woken at about 01:45 to a man in our front garden going through our wheelie bin. I called Sector 2 car who arrived really fast, just as the guy jumped over our side gate (turns out he must have been looking for something in the bin to protect his hands from the razor wire) and encountered our bull terrier. Caught between the cops and the dog he jumped over our adjourning neighbour's wall and disappeared into one of the adjacent gardens, dropping a small pocket- knife as he fled. I didn't see his face but got a good look at what he was wearing. He was a small to medium built guy in khaki cargo pants which gathered at the ankle (like uniform pants, similar to an ADT uniform but please, I'm not making any insinuations, this is just the best way to describe them), a grimy leather jacket (possibly patchwork), a muted striped scarf and a beanie. The cops were in the area for some time afterwards, but I believe that a property in Wesley Rd was successfully burgled at some point last night and wondered if anyone has more info?
