There was an attempted house break-in last night at 10:30 in Oxford Road. We heard the loud noise, and breaking glass, and then saw the perpetrator out of our bedroom window walking away and up Bowden Street. He had a grey hoody top on which was over his head, thus no additional features could be seen. He wasn't big at all, and looked more like a 16-18 year old child (size wise). A police van went past the house while this all happened but drove past and away. As the house has a high 1,8m high picket fence, it obstructed anyone's view from the street, therefore I don't think the police could've seen anything. I don't think anything was stolen, as from the time when the noise started untill we saw him flee, was less than a minute. Soon afterwards the owners of the house arrived. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~
