A few weeks ago I nearly fell into one on the pavement on Bowden Road. It was on the town side, just 5m above junction with Oxford Road. Appears like some inspection cover collapsed but was not repaired.
I worry for the safety of drunk revellers walking up from Lower Main late at night...
