This might be of interest: For Woodstock:
http://www.saps.gov.za/statistics/reports/crimestats/2009/provinces/w_cape/pdf/woodstock.pdf For the whole country: http://www.saps.gov.za/statistics/reports/crimestats/2009/totals.pdf There is clearly much to much crime. However, I think that, in the main, the statistics show an encouraging downward trend. The increase in arrests for drunken driving is probably a good thing, not that there is more, but that there are more arrests, which may help make the roads safer. It is good to have the statistics, no matter how bad, it is better to know than to be in fearful ignorance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
