Subject: [obsnw] Visitor robbed outside our house in Scott Rd at 7.30 on
Saturday night

A visiting friend had just got into her car at 7.30 tonight when a
young black man smashed the passenger side window of her car and
grabbed her handbag and shopping bag and ran down Cook St towards Salt
River. If anyone finds an abandoned light brown leather handbag with
ID book and driver's licence please let me know. The thief took
advantage of the fact that the street lights were out at the time so
he could not be easily seen. Thanks to James and Alida for their quick
response. The police were alerted by cellphone and arrived soon
afterwards.
