-----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rob Gaylard Sent: 28 October 2009 11:36 AM To: The Observatory Neighbourhood watch Subject: [obsnw] Housebreaking in Scott Road There was a housebreaking at No. 68 Scott Road yesterday. The intruders opened a sash window, forced back burglar bars and gained entry - all in broad daylight and in full view of passers-by in the street. Rather mysteriously, the alarm did not go off (although it did when the police walked in). The police responded promptly to a cellphone call to the Sector 1 vehicle and to a radio call, and were on the scene in numbers within minutes, along with an ADT patrol officer. Items stolen: a brand new Nikon camera, with camera bag and lenses, a Kodak digital camera, two leather jackets, a Garmin GPS, etc. Thanks to SAPS and Const. Ontong for their quick response. Fortunately neighbours knew how to contact the homeowners. __________ NOD32 2960 (20080319) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
