I'm so glad someone else has also brought this up. I still have
*never* seen a bicycle (and I drive through lower Obs quite a bit, and
I work near a window). We've seen the car twice, but even that isn't
okay as the following story perhaps demonstrates:
A couple of nights ago VS woke us up at 01.30 to tell us we'd left a
car window open. That was quite correct, but why didn't they notice
this at e.g. 19.30 or 22.30...? (hypothetical 3-hourly passing by our
house, which is surely not too much to expect). I have a sneaking
suspcion that they very seldom come down the short roads such as ours
is. But we pay the same as everyone else for their service! Frankly
I'm starting to feel sceptical about whether the patrols are doing
their job 24-7 even in the longer streets. I very much hope I'm wrong;
we need this thing to work.
