Subject: [obsnw] Mayor in dramatic arrest!
The (self appointed) Mayor of Obs, aided by Patrick the gardener and
Basil the cleaner spotted a black man trying to jimmy a car window on
a red golf on Friday afternoon just after 3pm in Scott Road. We gave
chase and he ran, we lost him, then found him again and Basil who has
a fair turn of speed got him.
He had a bag full of CDs. A case has been opened by SAPS and the thief
will have a weekend at taxpayers expense.
Perks of the job!
