This afternoon around 13:00 or 14:00 a person / persons cut the barbed wire and
used t-shirts to climb over the security gate (under the barbed wire) to get
into the service lane running between 40 and 42 Cranko Road. The people
involved then removed something like 5m or 6m of copper pipes supplying water
to the people living in 40 Cranko Road and disappeared (with the pipes). My
neighbour had her washing machine on at the time when her water stopped
running. When she looked outside water was gushing out in the service lane and
she noticed the t-shirts lining the gate and the barbed wire.

So, it seems like they are moving on to smaller copper pipes now that they have
stolen all the huge, old metal gutters (that used to be built into the
pavements) feeding rain water to the road.

If you have some copper pipes outside your house you may want to decorate it
with some thorn bushes, cacti or other really poisonous plants (possibly even
poisonous snakes, scorpions or better yet, a tokoloshe). My neighbour's pipes
where painted white and it really just looked like plastic pipes, so I don't
know who the genius was who decided that these pipes will be his next target.

Kind regards,
