Dear All,

While I totally agree with the march now planned, I recall marching not so
long ago for the student murdered on the opposite side of main road , a few
months back.

What saddens me is that all the marches in the world and demonstrations,
seem to have delivered very little action to save lives. Thugs are still
penetrating our neighbourhoods at random and we are told to be on the look
out for them and safeguard ourselves. While this is the right thing to do,
I honestly believe and I cannot stress, enough is enough.!! This is the
message that needs to be related to them our there. !! Lets make our
suburb/suburbs, the safest places to live.

Thugs do not belong here in the first place and should not want to enter
our streets for fear of their safety, Those thugs living and visiting in
our suburb and surrounds , should know that their time and activities are
numbered. They must be fearful to come and commit their crimes here.
We are showing them far too much respect and restraint , instead of showing
them our force in action ! This can be contributed to their human rights
promoted by the government who overlook that our human rights are severely
affected. We live in cages and cannot walk in the dark without fear.
We are told not to wear/carry items of value. To simply hand over.
What a cheek ! ; and yet currently I agree it is the right thing to do.
They however show no mercy to the ones they target. From shooting ,
knifing and robbing ! It would seem the government is allowing us all
to be intimidated to this extent and encourages us to hand in our own
weapons, so that we are defenceless. This is just too ludicrous for
words.! In mid and some eastern countries these people would be so scared
to operate, as they would lose limbs or their own lives in the process.

Let's show them our force and commitment to not have this happen ever again
in our neighbourhood. ! If this is going to cost some extra financial
budget , lets do it until thugs get the message loud and clear , that they
are not welcome and will not be tolerated in our streets. Can you
imagine how our property values will improve, from being a danger zone to a
place where you can walk 24/7 in safety . !

I am pleased to see a bit more activity from VS , but this is still not
enough . I realise it is a huge task to organise and I am sure the budget
and manpower is another issue. However I am totally convinced that with
really good patrols and back up , we can all cancel our ADT subscriptions
to finance a more effective approach to crime in our area, which can bring
about a no crime situation in our area, or at least no serious crime.
What a pleasure !! This cost can be shared by all whereas now it would
seem that ADT is used and paid for by only a number of residents.

I propose that VS sets up their own monitoring service or uses a good
monitoring service , such as Combat Force or any other. That is all we
would need then. If your alarm goes off, VS will be called to check out
the premises. This would mean a few guards, dedicated to this task.
However they will also be back up for the other guards in the area and
also observers when not responding to alarms. This increases the exposure
of force in the area , which is the message that the thugs must know and
understand. !

My hope is that each and every law abiding citizen and community in this
country will say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! With the government's clear inability
to fullfill it's duty to protect us, we need to do it ourselves . Our
human rights are severely affected and hampered and we will and should not
tolerate it any longer. We need to use our own resources to protect and
drive out those elements in our communities that make our lives living in
this country hell ! Lets all show our disgust at crime and lawlessness
in this country to those fatcats in charge with their high security
protection at our expense for their benefit only. Please
people wake up !

Regards

Annemarie

Be warned. Do not take photographs of the police station. It is a
national security keypoint and you could be arrested.
Here's my middle finger.
