On his way home this evening, Chris noticed a guy sitting on the corner of Lower Wrensch and Duke (outside our house, 75 Lower Wrensch) .... But he didn't look at him too closely.
When I got home half an hour later, I parked in front of the same spot and noticed a pile of copper coins - quite a substantial pile. Our deduction is either that that was stolen property, or someone gave it to this guy - so cheeky if you ask me - he clearly had picked his way through a jar or tin of coins, taking only the silver - and not even the American silver coins!!!! If it's stolen property, I've left it on the pavement, so if you need finger prints, let your detective know. If not, just another lesson to us all about giving cash!!!
