Hi All, I'm writing this on behalf of one of my friends staying in Campbell Road. She had a nasty accident on Saturday morning at 7:00 as follows:
She was at the corner or Polo and Main road, stationary waiting to turn left into Main road, saw a white opel club approaching from caltex garage side and due to them not indication that they were turning left, she waited. The white opel did not slow out and turned way to late into Polo and hit her on the right handside and due to his speed dragged the car back a bit and hit me all on the side At this stage the young man did not slow down, She had a feeling that he would not stop so in a moment of madness she drove into main road and turned around, and started chasing the white car down polo, he went down polo and turned left into Arnold and then right into Lower main road, she chased him all down Lower Main, where he turned left into staion road, where she was able to pull in front of the white opel cadet, jumped out of the car and ran towards the car, but the other driver reversed away and got down on of the side streets. There were 2 gentlemen, watching all of this, and they managed to get the drivers licence number, she did notice that the front did not have a licence number CA197 699. There would definitely be damage to their car as their car is a mess!! I have a feeling that they were coming home from a party and that they live in area. Young coloured man with a young lady in the car, both early 20s. As the perpetrator drove away from the scene, we are trying to locate the car that caused the accident, as we're both sure that the owners are staying in Obs. Please if anyone can provide us with more information we will appreciate it. The details of the car is as follows: Old White Opel Cadette Club - Reg No. CA 197 699 (front one missing) - there will be damage to the front section of the car.
