That is really frightening! I am so glad that nothing happened.
Who are these people? What is wrong with them! I wish there was some way
we could turn Obs into a gated community - at least to just keep these
people away, as well as the druggies, thieves etc. Obs is so lovely but
really these sort of things terrify me.

Just a heads up, yesterday afternoon (Monday 29th March) my nanny,
Kholeka was walking back from the park (in station rd) with our son.
She was walking back to our house along Nuttel Rd. A white city golf
with 2 big north african men stopped next to her. They offered her
R100 000 for our son, they then proceeded to offer her R200 000.
Fortunately she was quick to react and told them to leave her alone as
she had just pressed her panic button, which is on her house key and
security was on its way.
It just so happened that a security van passed them at that exact
moment, thank god, as our panic button would probably not have worked
so far away from our house. They sped off when they saw the security
van.
Please keep your eyes open and get the nanny's to walk together to the
park or the library, warn them that this is happening. Also if they do
see anything or anyone suspicious, call the emergency cell phone no:
