Have just received this email from a friend. Did this hijacking make it onto the local radar? X, from George, was in town for a meeting last weekend, and stayed with me in Obs. He went to have dinner with Y on Saturday night, and then decided to go out for a late drink in Obs. At about 2 a.m. he stopped his car at the bottom of Polo Rd to check his GPS, and was hijacked! Thrown onto the pavement from where he watched his car being driven off! The police have yet to find it!
