As I arrived in Obs around 4.50 pm this afternoon I saw the SAPS gathered around the above vehicle in Bowden Rd. It had apparently been stolen from Tableview sometime in April 2010. In the back of the SAPS vehicle was a "suspect" thought (by the police) to be linked to the stolen vehicle (?).
If I've understood correctly, when this chap walked up Bowden Rd he was thought to be suspicious and the police (or was it V.S.?) who gave chase. The chap ran and threw the brown jacket that he'd been wearing over someone's garden wall. I think the police thought the guy may have had the Nissan car keys in his pocket.
