Does anybody know if there's some sort of an agreement between the
Salvation Army (Dane St) allowing "informal residents' living on their
premises? If not, is there anything we can do to prevent this from
becoming a haven to many?

It seems as if the group sleeping in their garden is expanding rapidly,
spilling over into the parking area next to the Triangle Project on the
other side of Dane st.

It is becoming a problem for local residents: from urinating in public
(against our complex's exterior) to appropriating our dirt bins for
storage space for their mattresses etc - in so far as that we're
shortchanged for bins.

Drinking, fighting and abusive language are becoming part of our daily
landscape. It went as far as one of our female residents recently being
physically pushed aside in order to access their convenient 'storage
units'. Would more/regular patrols help sort out the situation, both in
our street and others that are experiencing the same increased influx?
