RONDEBOSCH GOOD NEWS STORY !

A Rondebosch resident phoned their Hub last week to report that somebody had
dumped a whole lot of magazines, still in their plastic wrappings into the
stormwater drain outside her carport. Unable to lift the heavy iron cover
she used gardening tools to fish them out one by one. The magazines turned
out to be advertising material for the Homemakers Fair at the CTICC next
month.

Within 10 minutes the distributors of the advertising material replied
requesting her to keep the material for their collection as through their
computerised records they could even establish the identity of the culprit/s
and the date the magazines were dumped.

We, residents of Lytton and Upper Scott, seldom receive our copies of
ObsLife, Obz News and other publications. So if you spot a bunch of them in
a bin please contact Brian Amery 021 448 7090 or me.

Take care,
