I have seen Richard walking to and fro along Wesley of late. He looks a little thinner and still has his give-away ear stud. Was it him I wonder.....
Kind of creepy hearing that a cheerful-looking guy *with gloves on* was asking to be let thru someone's house to see something at the back...... Yikes ! A 'boss' of mine from way back (around '95 ?) once let a chap into his flat..... The chap's car had apparently broken down and he needed a phone to call a friend to pick him up.... Once inside, he very quickly yanked the landline phone connection out of the wall. Screaming that he had a gun, he instructed Michael to load many possessions (clothes / tv / musical equipment / microwave) after which he (michael) had to carry all his stuff down to his own car (....thug's car was nowhere to be seen) - finally driving him to Liesbeeck Pkwy under the N2 bridge where he was ordered to stop and get out. Finally, the intruder drove off in *Michael's* car with many of his possessions. A job remarkably well done though my superior wasn't quite himself for a while after the event....
